Thrive te pae ora is a fully funded professional counselling service provided by ADL Limited, for young people (rangatahi) aged 12 to 24 and their family (whānau) living in the lower South Island. This can be accessed via face to face as well as online and telephone counselling. It’s safe, non-judgemental and completely confidential. If you're experiencing some difficulties with mental health or substance use, then we may be able to support you.

Over the Christmas and New Year break (2025/26), we’ll be running a lighter service. Opening only on the non-public holiday days (check the table below), we’ll still be here to help with service enquiries and navigation for young people, whānau, and referrers. Any referrals sent during this time will be processed and triaged, and a Clinician will be available if you need advice. You can reach ADL on 0800 292 988, however, please note: our phone will not always be monitored so please leave a voice mail and we will call you back as messages will be regularly cleared
