ADL Limited (ADL) is a not-for-profit organisation. ADL aims to help young people & whānau who are dealing with alcohol & drug issues and/or mental health difficulties. ADL has offices in Dunedin, Timaru, Cromwell and Invercargill, and covers rural areas via mobile staff. Most of our services are fully funded by the Southern DHB, South Canterbury DHB, and the Ministry of Social Development, making them free to clients and their families.

ADL is an accredited employer - contact us to enquire if you may be eligible for an accredited employer visa.
To work for us in a clinical role you must be fully or provisionally registered in New Zealand as an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Counsellor, AoD Clinician, Psychologist, or Nurse Therapist.
To work for us as a Community Support Worker (South Canterbury only) you must have or be willing to study for a relevant level 4 qualification.
Process to apply for work opportunities:
It is our preference to offer placement opportunities to students who are keen to work in the Southern Region of New Zealand upon graduation. Final year Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Counsellor, AoD clinician, Psychologist, or nurse therapist students should talk first with course supervisors before approaching us.
Questions around placements should be directed to the relevant Service Leader.
