Breathe 2 relax is an app for people wanting to learn relaxation breathing techniques to help with managing stress and anxiety.The app begins with a video demonstration of diaphragmatic breathing. It has good visualisation and easy to follow step by step guide to deep breathing. The app has some good written and/or video learning tools on the basics of the biology of breathing (purpose of deep breathing) How to breathe and the bodies reaction to stress including the fight or flight response. The app can connect with wearables (tried and works well with apple watch) to monitor heart rate before and after breathing exercise. A stress scale is also monitored with graphed results of HR change and self-reported stress level. The breathing exercise can be customised for visuals and sound as well as the ability to measure and set your own inhale and exhale lengths.
